LePage's support holds at a whopping 36%

You have to give the Tea Party wackos credit.  They're loyal.  They'd follow LePage right off a cliff.  If Cutler were to pull out of the race, Michaud would win in a landslide.  The Tea Party owes Cutler big-time!

New poll: the race for Governor remains in dead heat

PORTLAND, Maine (NEWS CENTER) -- The race for governor remains a statistical dead heat between Republican Gov. Paul LePage and Democrat Mike Michaud.

Michaud: 40%
LePage: 36%
Cutler: 15%

Undecided: 7%

48 percent of the voters surveyed still aren't completely sure about their choice. The survey found that it was likely that many voters will be watching to see whether independent candidate Eliot Cutler or Michaud has the better chance to beat LePage in November.
