Now we know why
Twice a day, since the beginning of his administration, Trumpery has received a "very special folder."
What's in this "very special folder" you ask?
In this "very special folder" are sensitive papers (as described to by three current and former White House officials) that are not top-secret intelligence or updates on legislative initiatives.
No, this "very special folder" is filled with screenshots of positive cable news chyrons (headlines and crawls at the bottom of the screen), flattering tweets, transcripts of bootlicking TV interviews (Fox), praise-filled news stories, and sometimes just pictures of Trumpery looking powerful.
One WH official said the only feedback the White House communications shop (they prepare the daily folder) has ever received is: “It needs to be more yucking positive.” Some in the WH refer to the "very special folder" as “the Propaganda Document.”
It's been reported that the "very special folder" was Sean Spicer and Reince Preibus' idea.
It's been reported that Trumpery reads up to 50 pages a day from the "very special folder"... filling his head with nothing but flattery, praise, and good news about his administration.
It's no wonder he refuses to believe the latest, negative, opinion polls.
I almost feel sorry for this...narcissistic, man-child idiot.
Sad
