God help the USA
“The United States appears, sadly, to be on its way to a complete meltdown. Poorly educated, a dysfunctional congress, seriously hampered by its citizens’ lack of knowledge of world affairs, living in gated communities when they can, tens of millions of seriously poor, 300 million guns to protect themselves from tyranny, trillions of dollars in debt with no way of turning that around, a military budget greater than the next 5 biggest military spending nations combined, a hatred of taxes of any kind yet possessing no way to rebuild its crumbling infrastructure, an almost visceral hatred of rational debate, mental illness commonplace, and an apocalyptic view of the future fueled by crazies, religious rapturists and 1776 constitutionalists. God help the USA.”

Re: God help the USA
"We've got to stop being the stupid party," lamented Louisiana Republican Governor Bobby Jindal.
Jindal pointed to GOP Senate candidates Todd Akin and Richard Mourdock, whose comments about rape angered women.
"It's no secret we had a number of Republicans that damaged the brand this year with offensive and bizarre comments. I'm here to say we've had enough of that," Jindal said.
