Casino location announced

OXFORD (NEWS CENTER) -- Olympia Group announced Thursday afternoon that the proposed location for the $150 million casino is in Oxford. They are now looking at three different locations in the town.

If they have half a brain, they would of realized that Rumford was never in the running for this. It's too far from Portland, and the infrastructure isn't in place to handle it.

The site selected is ideal.

That said, I hope the deal is voted down. It's a terribly written piece of legislation, and I don't trust the legislature to "take the white out" to it, as Ms. LaMarche somehow wants me to believe.
