As Town Moderator, it is my duty to provide a list of 12 candidates
within 14 days of the Town Meeting. There are four openings on the
committee this year. Three terms expire and the incumbents have not
expressed interest in returning. The other opening is due to a member
moving out of town.

The function of the Finance Committee is to make definite
recommendations to the voters at every annual and special meeting
relative to all articles in the warrant for such meeting involving the
appropriation and expenditure of moneys. The Committee shall also
serve in the capacity of a financial planning agency for the Town.

Letters of interest or suggestions should be submitted in writing to
the Town Clerk for transmittal to the moderator. Such suggestions
shall give the full name, address and occupation of the person
suggested, and his qualifications, and shall give the name and address
of, and shall be signed by the person submitting the same. All
letters of interest or suggestions need to be received no later than
this Friday June 18th to allow me time to process them and submit the
names in a timely manner.
