Remember, LePage has a home in Volusia County, FL.  Most of what comes out of his mouth can be traced to Florida. It's good to know that the Florida Department of Education is adopting a program to covert Florida's children to homosexuality. At least that's what this idiot (Van Zant) is saying.  Really...that's what this Republican is saying.  And these morons, like LePage, keep getting elected. I swear, our enemies around the world can sit back, relax, and watch us destroy ourselves.

A state representative (Florida Rep. Charles Van Zant, R-Keystone Heights) who once represented parts of Volusia County is standing by his belief that Florida’s new standardized tests will make students gay.

“These people that will now receive $220 million from the state of Florida unless this is stopped will promote double-mindedness in state education and attract every one of your children to become as homosexual as they possibly can,” Van Zant said of American Institutes for Research.

Read what this Republican wacko said yourself

For what it’s worth, fact-checking website Politifact awarded Van Zant’s claim the lowest score on its Truth-O-Meter: “Pants On Fire.”
