Ok, she got rid of the " town crier" or as I like to call it, "the town whiner". It basically lists her and Jason Thompson (wow.. talk about credibility!). Fortunately, I can also read Japanese a bit (although it doesn't really say much... ). But at least the "editor" pic is gone (THANK YOU, LORD JESUS!!!)

The graphics of the old site had been annoying me for quite some time. I can't say the new site has good graphics (it actually has ZERO graphics), but I am happy to see a more stripped down version that doesn't pretend to be anything more than what it actually is... a personal blog devoted to tearing down anyone she doesn't like in any way she can. Hopefully , Miss Vendetta can go the way of anntena tv's and get covered over in a blanket in some garage. Her attempts to have any municipal career (at least around here) are wasted. (Oh, wait... maybe there is an opening in Wasilla...)

I honestly don't mean to be petty, (but I cannot help it!). This person and this website has done more damage to the River Valley Community than if a tornado had gone through (albeit a slow and annoying tornado). I am all for free speech, but it has to be a two-way street, not a one-way alley.

Maybe she should just go found a little church where she can preach her bizarre sermons that completely revise the Bible. As a Christian, I found her "adaptations" of texts offensive and wrong.

And, in light of her vindictive and out-of-line postings about various members of the community, I call for her voluntary resignation from the finance committee. Someone who cannot separate her personal feelings from her professional community duties does not belong there.

Sorry, xmashen, but the editor's pic is still there as well as a photo of her lackey, the self-proclaimed "too sexy" for whatever guy.
I find the black background on the new site perfectly appropriate.

The new format and black background makes The Rumford Reporter nearly impossible to read, which is a good thing. Smile Viewer-ship is bound to decline. BUT, I'm sure "Jennifer" will read this post and correct the problems for me (us). Cool Hey, can anyone guess what Jennifer Stowell-Norris, the blatant self-promoter, hopes her next job will be? affraid

Looks like she might be gunnin' for full-time-economic-developer. She's posted her diploma to prove her qualifications.

Seriously, how could she hope to work in this town when she's slandered nearly every department?

Her temper is too out of control for her to be effective, not to mention she’s alienated half the town.

Isn’t it interesting that as soon as the hope of having the casino in town disappears, she starts stumping for an economic developer? It seems we have the money for one now, perhaps slightly less than $90,000?

I’m guessing that if that is her goal, she’s hoping the selectmen will just appoint her rather than do a full search. They have already done this with the town manager and the fire chief. Why advertise for the best person for the job when they can take care of “one of their own”.

The shameless self promoting is PRIME for satire. If only Rumford were part of an SNL skit. (Gee, is Tina Fey too busy these days that she couldn't do a short JSN piece?.... and don't ask me who would play the Jason part).

Seriously, she goes too far. At the risk of being self-repeating, she should at the LEAST be removed from the finance committee, since she hasn't the self control to keep her personal vendettas even remotely discrete. Is this anyone you would want to represent you on any level and in any capacity?

It's almost gone beyond a joke (although it still makes me chuckle).

Good thing she edited her last headline. "Next Time I'll Pack Some Heat" sounded like another threat.

Packing "heat", from The Rumford Reporter:

Fall in Crime Ridden Rumford...It's Scary Out There...Next Time I'll Pack Some Heat for Protection

[ therumfordreporter.com/2008/10/fall-in-crime-ridden-rumfordits-scary.html ]

Nice pictures though. Makes me miss fall in Maine.

The Rumford Reporter wanted to take the opportunity to thank one of our most active contributors, Jason Thompson. Jason has been instrumental in keeping us informed of the positive things that happen in Rumford. Due to work constraints and family life, Jason will not be able to contribute to the Rumford Reporter as much as he had in the past. But, we want to wish him the best of luck in all of his future endeavors and show our gratitude for all that he has done to help contribute to a newspaper dedicated to the beautification of Rumford and our silent majority.

Do you suppose he has new employment? Was maybe reprimanded by his committee? Or are they are nicely (that would be a new trait) writing him off??? Does anyone know the scoop?

JSN is probably trying to pretty-up her site in expectancy of being offered a job as Director Of Economic Development for the River Valley. I would guess that Mr. Thompson's thuggish style doesn't suit her purpose at this time.

I had to laugh at that one too! Let's open up all the beauty salons! I know I could use a facial and a haircut!

There WAS a post (now nowhere to be found...?) on TRR from Stephanie Thompson. She and Jason are moving out of town.
