Not all Republicans...

Whether you agree with LePig's politics or not, he is a disgusting human being...and that's OK with Tea Party types. Actually, Tea Party types admire LePig and his behavior.

Recently, Gov. Paul LePig had some choice words for my colleague, Rep. Peggy Rotundo. The governor said, “she is an architect of pork – she should be a pig farmer.”

I serve with Rep. Rotundo on the Appropriations Committee. She is a Democrat and I am a Republican.

Sometimes we find ourselves on opposite sides of issues, sometimes not. But I have served with her for five years, so I think I can speak with some authority about who she is.

Regardless of politics, Rep. Rotundo is one of the hardest working, dignified and most principled people I know. She has given up a good part of her life to represent her community.

The governor’s demeaning comments are insulting to a fine public servant.
