True Political Correctness

Conservatives have complained for years about liberal political correctness.

Politically correct language (as practiced by liberals) is language used to encourage respectful speech, and is more about being considerate than about politics.

Political correctness (as practiced by the Trumpery administration) is censorship.

For example...

The Trumpery administration is prohibiting the CDC from using seven words or phrases in official documents being prepared for next year’s budget.

“vulnerable”
“entitlement”
“diversity”
“transgender”
“fetus”
“evidence-based”
“science-based.”

It’s when Trumpery uses his authority to order officials at the CDC what words they cannot use that we enter the realm of truly politically correct language.

The Republican Party has become the politically correct party.

Ironic, eh? but not surprising.

Hitler did similar things.
