Google Earth/maps
Have any of you played with Google Earth? I have great fun playing with it, now it offers street views which is pretty neat. You can also do street view on Google maps by typing in Rumford, ME 04276 and by dragging the little orange fellow (upper left of photo/map) and then dropping him onto the yellow lines on the map. You then can drag the compass dial around for a 360 view. You can drag the screen where the arrows are to shift location or use the orange fellow (now in the lower right mini map) along the yellow lines. I'm often easily amused but thought this worth sharing in case some hadn't used it.

It's a great tool. Google maps keeps getting better and better. Also maps.live.com has a 'birdseye' feature which was all done from airplanes. It's pretty neat. Check out southern Maine or a more populated area because they didnt do any in the River Valley area.

Re: Google Earth/maps
I saw that last night while finding info about the street view camera...
The driver, while driving/working for Immersive Media, hit the deer. The camera didn't hit the deer, Google didn't hit the deer. And, the deer lived.
