Really? We're going to sink that low? I thought maybe we were above commenting on others dispair...especially if she was the victim. Have some standards people, even if she hasn't.

It might not have been "her", and might our questions and interest be based in good intentions? You are prejudging.

sorry to disappoint, 911, but when someone puts themselves in the public spotlight that much, they DO get examined and deserve to be . Maybe not " judged", but certainly examined. Especially someone who has never had the slightest qualm about judging everyone else and their grandmother.

While I hesitate to bring up the tired old Tiger Woods analogy, I will anyway.

If you make yourself a " public figure" (especially one that feels free to trash everyone else) , you should expect to have to deal with ALL of the stuff that goes along with it, including people talking about what, for most people, would normally be a private matter.

I am sure we all have sympathy for the victim of any kind of violence and no one is wishing anyone harm.

However, while it seems that this is probably "somewhat" related to TRR, no one knows the circumstances, or the other party/parties involved. I wish them all well.

To question someones ethical behavior, policies and beliefs they have, or their own personal conduct is one thing. To be giddy and gossip publically about a victim of a crime is quite another issue. You can paint it any color you want you are being no different then the old biddies who spread town gossip, something I'm sure we've all been victim to at one time or another

911Dispatcher, you must have a problem with the SunJournal publishing this and all other arrests then. Do you view all such reporting as gossip?

BTW...please point out to me how or where my post(s) are giddy and how I am gossiping about a "victim". The only name I referenced was Lee Norris which was linked to a public police report. If I wanted to gossip about the person you are so concerned about (which I find odd considering how she has treated you publicly), I would have used her name.

Your righteous indignation is misplaced.

I tend to believe you fight the good fight, you take the high road, in the end I sleep a little better at night. I even gain a little respect and willingness from others to lsiten to my opinion. Which on ocassion JSN has listened (even though it didn't sink in). I'm not going to argue your intentions for your post, only you know why you put it out there, sorry if I miss preconcieved your true intentions. I hope JSN is okay because I would never wish anyone to be violated and assaulted by the one person who took an oath to cherish and respect, even on my worst enemy. I'm just not that cruel in nature.

Oh and also the newspaper has rules and laws to follow when the publish a crime bulletin, one is not printing the victims names in certain crimes and when it involves juveniles. There is a reason for this.
