Alaska officers killed in line of duty

Two officers were killed in the line of duty. The shooting was witnessed by one of the slain officers wife, two children, and mother. This is in a community of less than 800 people with little to no crime. They have one.....ONE officer remaining on the force. Take a minute and ponder, do you still think Rumford is immune to big city tragedy and crime????

Rumford is not immune no matter what Jennifer Stowell Norris says (oops...I used her name).

It wasn't that long ago the town of Colebrook, New Hampshire experienced a similar tragedy.

What a terrible tragedy... Did you know the officers?

I did not know the two that were killed. I knew of previous Hoonah PD officers and I knew everyone that went down and assisted in the apprehension of the suspect. I would also note that Officer Wallace was actually deaf, over coming many obstacles he was able to become a police officer and finish top of his academy class. He was originally from the east coast too.
