Retired from the military???

The Rumford Reporter Me, too. And, now I can live in Rumford on my retirement check cuz I sacrificed for the military. But, you wouldn't get me to move for nothing for any job. I am so tired of traveling and commuting. So, let's bring the jobs to us!

You qualify for retirement by serving 20 full years in the military. If you are discharged from the military with 19 years, 11 months, and 29 days of service, you do not qualify for retirement.

In the past, there were early retirement programs designed to reduce the size of the armed forces. I doubt that applies in JSN case.

I assume Jennifer Stowell Norris was an AGR. I doubt she has twenty years of service, though it‘s possible. I believe she’s 38 which would mean she must have enlisted when she was 17 or 18 - right out of high school.

I think I recall her stating that she was in, partime, for 13 years. And didn't she quit so she wouldn't be deployed?
