I know this is old, but I think it's worth posting to remind people what an ignorant buffoon 
LePage is.
Remember when LePage claimed that the University of Maine at Presque Isle's wind turbine had an electric motor to turn the blades when there was no wind in order to give the false impression of the viability of wind power? Of course, there is the possibility LePage is not ignorant and just a bald-faced liar.

Should any Tea Partiers be reading this blog (I know there are) and believe any of the crap that comes out of their fearless leader's mouth, you can go here and check UMPI's wind turbine data...live. You can see for yourself if Lepage's mysterious, electric motor is turning UMPI's rotors on days when there is no wind.
