These can't be true Conservatives

I've been reviewing various network news blogs in search of peoples' perspectives regarding Obama's election. Below is a sample post with content that is becoming all too common:

"Hey hockey61, I would say the same that Monkey Obama, Monkey Michelle
and little Monkey daughters are a good entertainment for us and for
less than a penny. It would be good if they get a little monkey as a
pet. If you check the White House, do not be confused is the White
House and not the ZOO. It is just Obama and his family around no
monkeys."

It amazes me that these "bloggers" call themselves "true" Conservatives.

Sad.

More accurately, "true racists".

As most of you on this forum know, I consider myself to be a conservative, particularly in the area of fiscal policy. I do not condone the blatant racism exhibited in the blog entry above, and I have personally reprimanded others for similar diatribe. While I may not agree with Mr. Obama's policies, I look upon him as a fellow American, period.

What is a "true conservative"??

I would gain a lot of respect for the "true" Conservatives if they would take these people to task.

I listen to the likes of Sean Hannity, Rush Limbaugh, Michael Savage, and Bill Cunningham. Their silence encourages such behavior.
