RUMFORD — Voters on Tuesday cut the proposed $7.2 million municipal budget, mostly by accepting Finance Committee amounts rather than selectmen's recommendations.
In municipal elections, Adley and incumbent Jeff Sterling were re-elected, while newcomer Jeremy Volkernick won incumbent Frank DiConzo's seat on the Board of Selectmen.
In the race for two three-year terms, Adley tallied 810 votes, Volkernick got 570, Jolene Lovejoy got 524, DiConzo got 513, Frank Anastasio got 388, and Eric Giroux got 221.
