Question of the Week
If you were given $1,000,000. with the stipulation that you must use that money to create and maintain a business in the River Valley area, how would you spend the money?
I was going to post this on Sunday but figured I'd forget...

Re: Question of the Week
I would purchase all the old Puiia property at the end of Spruce St/Prospect Ave. and move my small business to the larger building and expand it to become my dream business. I would reconstruct the other buildings to offer retail and office space for lease.

Re: Question of the Week
Option #2, same property. I'd build a sports complex. It would house an indoor Olympic size pool, a hockey rink, walking track, racquetball etc. with smaller rooms to accommodate martial arts, dance, aerobics etc. it would also have an cafe/lounge w/free wi-fi and retail space. Would a million dollars cover that?
Now I have this (link) song stuck in my head!

Re: Question of the Week
Isn't there a song about that? If I had a million dollars? No green dresses, that's cruel.
Seriously, I think I'd have to look at a wood pellet business and maybe a stove business as well. This area has the resources for that.
Alternative energy is a hot topic right now and I don't see that changing. Crisis is opportunity.

Re: Question of the Week
I would have to say I would open a outdoors store. Anything from Gun smithing, ammo, fishing/hunting supplies, recreational vehicles and a little something for every sport or at least most sports.
