It reflects what 39% want.  It doesn't even come close to what all Mainers want.  Nice spin though Candy, or maybe you received your math education in the Rumford school system that you detest and claim is so deficient .

More than 1,800 letters asking Governor Paul LePage to resign


PORTLAND, Maine (AP) — MSNBC host Rachel Maddow says more than 1,800 letters poured into Republican Gov. Paul LePig's office in the month after he said he'd resign if Mainers asked him to.

Maddow shared the results of her Freedom of Access Act request for the emails, which took her nine months to receive, on her Wednesday night program.

LePig told WGAN-AM a year ago that if Mainers don't want him then "just ask me to leave" at a time when he faced calls for impeachment and a lawsuit by Democratic House Speaker Mark Eves.

In a way, this is another example of what Candy (and her "ilk") try to do to mislead the world.  It's not that "US and World History have been systematically stripped from public school education", it's just that Candy's version of history has.  History, after all, is an accurate record and study of past events.

And some still wonder why history, both US and World History have been systematically stripped from public school education. It is much easier to repeat such things as the precursor to gun confiscation to enable tyrannical government takeover when people don't know that was the progression time and again.
