Merry Christmas to all. If you have time, find one of the sites that sends a message to a soldier. While you are with your family, there are a lot of them that are not, to include Maine National Guard men and women.

Gadget- I'm having a hard time to find a site that will send holiday wishes. Do you have the web address for any?
I did find this though, hopefully everyone can take a few minutes so send a message.
Let's Say Thanks

Re: MERRY CHRISTMAS
Today has been wonderful. Now it's peaceful in my house and the girls have left with their father and grandparents. We all came together to celebrate, which is a miraculous thing with split families. We have always been fortunate enough to be willing to share our children...their presence is our greatest gift and treasure.
I found this poem written for my oldest daughter by her father a few years ago...it's a gift of fatherly wisdom and love that I want to share with all of you.
Don't Harden Your Heart
don't harden your heart,
though the stiff necks slander you,
tell lies, try to break your back.
your eyes are oceans that
ebb and flow with the moon.
at the hint of your tears,
the red tide scatters,
and is washed to sea.
birches bow in spring time,
in shadowy vernal pools,
fragments of ice float and melt,
streamside, yellow warblers sing.
believe in your unbelief.
the non-believers cast you free
like seed in a barren promised land.
i believe, first born child of mine,
daughter of eve, i believe.
don't harden your heart.
don't harden your heart.
