TRR RESPONSE/COMMENT THREAD

Hey, gang! I have an idea. We all know how much TRR annoys and infuriates us on pretty much a daily basis. We respond to specific abscesses as they occur. Rather than spread our comments out over threads that may be overlooked and/or confusing to follow, I propose a running thread (ok, THIS ONE) where we can simply comment on the idiocies of the day. I am not saying that certain topics don't deserve their own thread, but for the most part I am guessing we would just prefer to make comments on the steady stream of verbal diarrhea oozing from that site.

I am thinking that her rants don't deserve a thread of their own, but DO deserve comments.

Let me start with my own:The latest anti obama vid, a spoof of Pink Floyd's "another brick in the wall" , while juvenile at best (and Hey, I like PF as much as anybody!), brings to mind the real opening line of the song " we don't need no education" . That certainly rings true in this case!

Oh, another peeve. She runs around photographing people's houses. I doubt that she asks permission before she posts them on her site. Do you want your houses posted?

ok, maybe everyone is just afraid? is that it? Honestly, i am not getting the reason for the dead silence on this forum. It's disconcerting to find all reasonable voices silenced. Is she really all that powerful to you guys? Have you all totally wimped out?

I don't think she asks about the businesses either. It gives the impression they are affiliated somehow or at the very least support TRR. But then again- I suppose some wouldn't be too picky about free advertising, but personally would really hesitate before frequenting a local business that did support TRR's views.

Maybe we can figure out the affiliations here... I wonder why some businesses are noticeably missing? Like Adley's Auto, Hannaford, Scoops, Sears, The Dollar Tree, Brian's Bistro... does she not like them and not want to give them publicity (like denying them is hurting them ), or is she asking permission and they denied her??

Her current focus seems to be on her new "hardcore conservative" identity and values, and not on the town of Rumford and those citizens who she'd like to get rid of. We can all probably guess why..........none of that personal trashing will ever get her any town manager position. When those positions do get filled with "qualified" applicants, I bet she'll resume her hateful tirades.

Likely not. Because we all know that she thinks that no one can do a job better than she could have. She doesn't even live or work in Lisbon any more and she's still trying to prove herself to them.

But can you just imagine the scenario if she got the TM job? it would be like Sarah Palin on steroids (I know, redundant). If she thinks idiots like Glenn Beck represent her, I would pity anyone that she would ulitmately represent.

Does she really believe the crisis this country is in is all President Obama's fault? Does she forget that we're trying to recover from eight years under the misguided direction of a nincompoop?

Of course she believes that. It happens all the time. Right? Well established countries are destroyed in two months at the hands of one person. Right?

We should all applaud her. We should applaud her for sticking to her beliefs, and not letting her opinions be corrupted by facts. That is faith in her convictions. She is very committed to her mission.

I personally believe she should be committed. Maybe even convicted of something or other.

Huh? Can someone define success? Looked like a bunch of multi-gendered mullet-heads with poorly written signs to me. Is it a success cuz it got some pathetic news coverage? Is it a success because it didn't rain?

I am almost feeling sorry for that girl. First, she needs to get the hair out her left eye so she can see, and then stop whining about things she has no clue about.

It's distressing that someone that young can be so negative.

It looks like TRR has become an " on-line" FOX affiliate. If I wanna see Glenn Beck or Sean Haggity (which i don't), I can turn on my tv. These guys are hucksters and snake-oil salesman of the worst sort. No wonder she worships them.

I listen to Michael Savage on a regular basis. Apparently Jennifer Stowell Norris doesn't and is not aware that Michael Savage hates the Republicans as much as he hates the Democrats.

Michael Savage hates Rush Limbaugh, Glen Beck, and Sean Hannity.

Michael Savage hates Fox News.

Michael Savage hates autistic children.

Michael Savage hates everything.

With apologies to my Republican friends (YES, I do have a few... ok, maybe 3 or 4... or maybe 2 or 1, or whatever), might I respectfully suggest that TRR keep its well earned initials , but change its full name to " the REPUBLICAN REPORTER" (although that seems a disservice to the rebuplicans I know who have a brain). OK, help me out here ... " the RECIDIVIST REPORTER" , "the REDUNDANT REPORTER", " the REVOLTING REPORTER" .... come on, I am sure you can come up with something since it's clear that Rumford has nothing to do with it... REPULSIVE? REPTILIAN?
